Photos from Joe Henderson Lab Opening Night

The Joe Henderson Lab had it's Grand Opening last Thursday night. The evening included a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, some remarks from SFJAZZ Co-founder & Artistic Director Randall Kline, as well as the kick-off of the 1st Annual SFJAZZ Hotplate Festival featuring a Joe Henderson tribute by Mitch Marcus and his quintet. Here are a few photos from that evening.

SFJAZZ Education Program Manager Claire Phillips and Randall Kline cut the ribbon to the Joe Henderson Lab!

Another great photo taken from across the street during the opening set.

Award-winning illustrator/artist Mark Ulriksen and Randall Kline pose in front of Ulriksen's painting of Joe Henderson, which will forever be located in the Lab.
