From the Ground Up: October 24, 2012

With the opening of the SFJAZZ Center less than 89 days away, photographer Henrik Kam shows how this captivating building has re-shaped the view for those heading up Franklin Street.

HK: As you drive north on Franklin Street, the rhythmic play between the offset elements of the facade comes into view; the translucent panels are mounted flush and the clear windows are inset giving a great sense of volume and shading.

Most of the glazing is now in place - big sheets of inch-thick, laminated glass.
Weighs a LOT!
